Rob Reiner was one of the truly great creatives in my lifetime. I was reading his book about Spinal Tap when I got the news. I had taken a Stonehenge picture of the book earlier that day, not knowing that it would a memorial instead of an homage.
RIP Meathead. All the way to eleven.

I CUT OPEN THE ROCK!
It's malleable. The pocketknife 'smeared' the inside if the rock as it cut through, making the lighter-colored stripes. The lighter-colored area stops where the rock popped open from the pressure.
It looks less like crystal and more like a compressed mass.

While measuring brown sugar today, I noticed a dis-colored mass and culled it. Washed it off and it looked like a rock. "How did a rock get in there?"
Later, in the name of Science! I licked the rock.
It was sweet. I decided it's probably a solid crystal of sugar that had escaped the crusher.
