First night back at Morris practice after a month of travels.
Proud that my brain found the capacity to relearn everything I’d forgotten these past few weeks as well as 2/3 of a new dance.
Also happy to be reunited with the fancy sticks* (*bobbins)

First time at the local community repair cafe to get the espresso machine fixed.
Sitting near the door is like being on antiques roadshow - but instead of family heirlooms it’s a parade of the local neighbourhood walking in to present their broken hoovers, lamps and garden tools.

Everyone who told me to visit Haw Par Villa in Singapore were very correct.
However - I was not expecting how perfect its shapes and colour blocking would be based on what I’d looked up
Felt very much like a Tiger Balm dynasty spiritual cousin of Portmerion.
