I wrote a long illustrated story of the last time I introduced a dog to my cats, but it seems to have glitched out and not posted? In hopes that it’s just delayed, I will not repeat everything, but the gist is: Don’t rush. Follow the animals’ cues and be sure they’re comfy before taking each step.

My evil genius is very affectionate, and the lunatic weirdo is standoffish during the day (unless you are my younger daughter) but remarkably sweet & harmless.

Would you like to see this extremely tiny kitten I met yesterday? He is moving along to the next stage in fostering, having graduated tube feeding, gained quite a lot of weight on a bottle, and become just about ready to try wet food!

These are Pallas and Francie! They are very soft and excellent purrers.

Pallas has elements of True Baby and True Rat, but not exactly in a way that combines to Rat Baby.

She has never had a complete thought in her life even once, and is very fond of Francie despite the smacking.
