I want to tell all students of the so-called 'rip-off degrees' named below that your critical thinking is important and makes valid contributions to culture and society

Without your skills, we wouldn't be able to unpack toxic discourses and do something about them

This makes me so angry. These people view all life as training for lifelong servitude/work. There's no room for interest, enjoyment, and culture in their bleak vision of education. At least she'll never be in power to see it through. Though Reform are probably worse.
Badenoch: Curb students taking "rip-off" degrees such as English. The performing arts, sociology and anthropology are among the subjects the Conservatives would like to cut

📣 Germany's close to reversing its opposition to mass surveillance & private message scanning, & backing the Chat Control bill. This could end private comms-& Signal-in the EU.

Time's short and they're counting on obscurity: please let German politicians know how horrifying their reversal would be.

We are alarmed by reports that Germany is on the verge of a catastrophic about-face, reversing its longstanding and principled opposition to the EU’s Chat Control proposal which, if passed, could spell the end of the right to privacy in Europe. signal.org/blog/pdfs/ge...

The BBC has been accused of “extraordinary” anti-Green bias, after the party says a long-promised conference interview with new leader Zack Polanski was cancelled by the Laura Kuenssberg show just days before going to air

Every major political party leader, aside from him, was interviewed recently.

That there hasn't been an immediate international outcry about the kidnapping and likely torture of humanitarians by Israel is further proof of Western complicity, and sadly it further extends Israel's carte blanche for atrocities.

Targeting Greta Thunberg with their dispicable humiliatory acts is deliberate by the IDF. They know that right wing commentators hate her more than most, and will gleefully repeat the news riling up their base even more. Disgusting.
