A photo from Quark's Bar and Restaurant from the Star Trek Experience (RIP) that was in the Las Vegas Hilton, of four fucking nerds wearing Next Gen uniforms (though they don't look that nerdy, so nerds can be sexy now). It's three guys and one woman, but the guys are wearing command red, and the woman is wearing operations gold. What, woman can't be captains?! Anyway, they're going to town on a fishbowl of steaming red liquid (it's steaming from dry ice), using long colorful straws. This is a drink I've had a bunch of times when visting the Star Trek Experience, and it's a Warp Core Breach. Here's a recipe from the official Star Trek site, but it's not the one we used to make that had Sobe Power, which no longer exists. A movie that takes place where you're from
A shot from the movie Scavenger Hunt (1979), featuring Richard Mulligan (from Empty Nest) standing in the parking lot of a strip mall in San Diego, leaning against a taxi snd looking at an envelope and eating a banana. I know this mall specifically, it's on Garnet Ave in PB, because it had our favorite pasta restaurant in the late 90s/early 2000s (it was more 90s than Italian). They'd make their own pasta fresh with different flavors, like spinach or red pepper, and then you'd pick your own sauce. So fucking good, though it's been gone for a couple decades now. RIP Lotsa Pasta. Their garlic soup was really good too, though some indigestion could happen. Anyway, even though some scenes were filmed at the Huntington Library, most of it was filmed around SD, like at Balboa Park and the zoo and shit. So, I say it takes place in SD too, so there.

The door is right there, Dum Dum
Panel from Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos, by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Geo. Bell, and Art Simek. The Commandos are busting into a Nazi barracks, most of them sensibly use the door, Dum Dum Dugan decided to bash throught the windows for some reason and risk getting shredded. The walls of the barracks for bright red and the floor is bright yellow, because 60s coloring. Gabriel is blowing his horn because that's what he always does. He's also a black character but he's colored gray because white guys in the 60s didn't know how to color black people properly so they resorted to gray. But hey, a black army hero character in the 60s, good on you Stan

Megatron who is pretty tall compared to Rodimus, is telling Rodimus: "We are being chased by a planet." Rodimus is pleased by this news and says "Cool," but in the next panel he's scratching what passes for a Cybertronian eyebrow, clearly processing this new info. In the last panel Ol' Rod just can't parse this and says " Sorry, what?"

The only Rom I've ever read was IDW's attempt at rebooting it (along with Micronauts and Mask, etc., an attempt at a Hasbro comics version of the MCU but much less successful). He had a crossover miniseries with Transformers that wasn't bad, I liked the art. A Cybertronian joins the Space Knights
