Same weird forester/forest ecologist/occasional essayist you knew from Twitter. Just a big damn squirrel specializing in regenerative forestry practices and encouraging old growth character

Known by some as "Gandalf" and "That God Damned Tree Wizard"

I do want to shout-out my fellow sociologists, who have collectively created a discipline so woke that not a single one of our introductory textbooks can make it past Florida's censors.

Great work everyone.

Yep. these are my last three gals I've found in the woods.

The Black one lives with my dad, the brown one got adopted by a gal whose family is fabulously wealthy so she lives like a QUEEN, and the tan one is still available for adoption with www.athenscaninerescue.com under the name Princess Donut

regular ABS, but we take Acetone ABS slurry and paint the hull once we've assembled it. totally bomb-proof.

we've stood on the hulls, stomped on them, hell we even used a hull as a baseball bat. they're tough as nails.

yeah so PETG was what I used to make the Harriet P. Kittenlaser (at left), and ABS is what the majority of our boats are made with (examples at right).

PETG is great for convoy boats and such but it just can't stand up to heavy combat like ABS. our boats get absolutely brutalized.

I saw a huge reply like that on one of your posts the other night and was very taken aback. who tf says that crap.

lol yeah we use ABS for printing RC Combat boats and it is not great to work with. my friends who do all the printing for the hobby only use it bc they have to to meet the material demands of the hobby

New at The Watch:

I dug into archival witness accounts of the British siege of Boston prior to the American Revolution.

They are remarkably similar to what we're seeing in Minneapolis.

Two cities under siege
Remarkably similar scenes from Boston and Minneapolis, 260 years apart, show a federal government betraying its founding principles.
