They can’t build a cabin because of staffing. That’s on Trump. They’re also busy taking down signs about Indigenous people and Black history all over the country. This totally tracks.
The cabin would have been part of the Forest Service’s biggest public-use cabin expansion plan in 50 years, which plans to bring around 25 new cabins to the Chugach and Tongass National Forests, including four in Juneau.

Officials say it’s due to staff capacity and challenges of the site, not nearby mining interests.

It always feels like the end of an era when a rat over 3 years old passes. I'm so grateful she lived such a long, spirited life. She was so sweet and gave tiny kisses and took care of the other rats. I had her since she was like 4 or 5 weeks old.

Well, i just got another rejection letter from IPS.
So I didnt even make it to the finalist stage for grad school applications this year.
