I think it's like you say in the video, "arcade-perfect" has a narrow window in which the arcade machine feels reasonably current and having it at home is genuinely impressive. PS1 Ridge Racer or Saturn Sega Rally are the immediate ones springing to mind as relatively late but also well-received.

The implication being that there are people out there watching enough AI-gen videos and getting so used to that style of script, narration and pacing that the way an actual human* does it feels inherently wrong.
* - to the degree I can be classed "an actual human". Some days I'm not sure.

The funny one is when I got a comment to that effect on a vocal flub in a video that was released when ElevenLabs was no more than a glint in Piotr and Matt's eyes.
The horrifying ones are the comments complaining that my stuff should be more like slop videos...

Oh, and of course because this is now a matter of Semi Public Record, it wouldn't be right for each week to be mostly a repeat of the last one, so that's 25 albums from a different set of artists each week.

Technically this doesn't require listening to an entire album, but something about this has triggered my "I'm not having things out there in the wild suggesting I listened to an album when it was just one or two tracks" so the net consequence is to listen to 25 albums per week.

Only the Saturday for me this year! Had a very lazy Sunday, although did play some F1GP to round out my weekend collection of Crammond games.

I feel weirdly uncomfortable with success on YouTube. It's a bit, "hang on, this is designed for about 26 people in the entire known universe, two thirds of whom I know personally, what is anyone else doing watching it?"

I played the official console of that exact activity today (and had precisely 1 Fun while doing so), it'd be an insult if I *didn't* do the maths.
