I’d agree! In the PA side, I love how teams like the Philadelphia Ukrainians made a wildly deep impact on soccer in the US in the early/mid 1900s

Looking back: Teams like Boise State and Hawai’i having as much quality and notoriety 00s and 10s oddly made way more sense than than these teams being so good now 😂

A German reporter behind me had to go back into screening because they went to the bathroom while waiting at the red carpet checkpoint 😭 their team initially waited outside almost 2 hours for the initial screening

Got in *just* before the arrival deadline! Now we wait for (hopefully) one more screening before the red carpet arrivals.

I should’ve been at the Kennedy Center over an hour ago. Roads blocked, DC morning traffic, dignitary convoys, and (what seems like) one car screening checkpoint. Less than ideal.

I love this work and what the camera provides. The print shop and magazines help fuel NW in lean times and cover the costs of other coverage. It'd be great to earn enough from these initiatives to support others in need. For now, connecting with people through the photographs is a good start.

That was me lol. In middle school I saw that my personal life (poor, single parent, other ACE moments) wasn’t far off most black kids who picked on me in school or church; similar threats and outcomes, different neighborhoods. Black history helped me *want* to connect, even when actively rejected.
