I'm always kind of annoyed how good I feel when I'm eating well considered, healthy meals and not calling a greasy audible twice a day.

I'm often leery of them because I was college gyming during I feel like the height of the gym bro era, but there are a ton of really great Youtube channels to help figure it out if you can skirt the scams and loons.

I'm sure I played a bunch of other games at least a little bit, but those are the ones that spring to mind. I played just so many things this year, I hope I get to play just as much next year. Games are good man.

On the couch my wife and I played through Overcooked 2 earlier this year and are currently almost done with Super Mario 3D World. That's been a lot of fun, we really have a good time playing co-op games like that. I think we'll probably pick up Mario Wonder next.

Outside my steam library I replayed a bunch of old games I had as a kid. Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Banjo Kazooie and Two-ie, and the first three Donkey Kong Country SNES titles. Nothing I can say except they kicked ass when I was a kid and they kick ass now.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was my other standout game this year, hunkered down on that immediately until it was done. Recent commotion aside I thought it was really great and was super fun to play. The soundtrack also rules.

The most recent game I completed was Horizon Zero Dawn, far from a new game, but that was a good time. Played well, enemies were cool and interesting, the story is pretty good. It goes off the sci-fi deep end towards the end but that's alright.

I picked up Pacific Drive after seeing @alexsteacy.bsky.social play it on stream and that's been a lot of fun. I'm not very far into the story but the gameplay is slick and the setting/atmosphere is cool as hell. I didn't realize beat-up-jalopy-punk was a genre I wanted.
