As I understand it, she was employed at Conde Nast on a contract until the end of the year with an option to re-up after that. I suspect one party or another set that with a strong suspicion that she should find a way to do this to herself.

Always felt very close to how I imagined the Catholic order of heaven to be. God is busy and he has a bunch of decisions to make so he delegates operations to specialized departments, saints and angels and what not.

I will say back in the days when I was routinely working with multi-gigabyte files for print on not great hardware, I had to be judicious with my saves as it would take 30-60 seconds each time
