All great tips. Thank you!

Now that's a fascinating idea... start with a ball they're already kind of sick of chewing on. I will give that a try!

Trying to teach Koopa fetch using the two-ball technique. Let's just say things didn't go according to plan.

If y'all have any bomb-proof fetch training techniques we're all ears. This dude would just rather chew on the ball than bring it back, even when treats are involved.

With holiday travel ramping up I figured I'd jot down a few, well, let's say somewhat less conventional tips for how I both reduce and cope with travel headaches on the regular.

There’s an episode of Friends where Rachel supposedly (off-screen) compares Jane Eyre to Robocop and I briefly thought of that as @timstevens.bsky.social here makes a much, more more apt comparison between Robocop and the Mustang GTD.

There's a patriotic war brewing on a track that, traditionally, neither American manufacturers nor their enthusiasts have cared much about. It's the Nürburgring, and here's what it's like to drive the two greatest 'Merican weapons that have ever been deployed there. arstechnica.com/cars/2025/09...
ZR1, GTD, and America’s new Nürburgring war
Ford and Chevy set near-identical lap times with very different cars; we drove both.

Pinball, deconstructed. First test wiring up of our Street Fighter II Pinball restoration project. Some final finishing touches today, hopefully will flip the switch for the first time next week. Pray for no smoke...

I'm ever jealous of the much cleaner Rimowa look but increasingly fond of the functionality of my Tumi, despite its reluctance to release my clothes that one time.

Careful with that stuff, man. LibertyBro49 on TikTok told me that stuff gives you ass cancer.

Had a headache this am so I took some acetaminophen. Just catching up on the news and I'm glad I didn't take Tylenol. Really dodged a bullet there.

I would like to ask a few questions of the engineer at DTW who decided that closing and 2/3 of the airport restrooms simultaneously for renovation was a good idea. I'm sure there's some cost savings in working in parallel, but the other result is a line out the door of every functional facility.

There's a lot to unpack here.

Came to say this. I think there's something to it.

Sometimes, motorsports gets it.
SCCA Solo Nats competitor is protested on Day 1 in a ladies class for being trans. Protest committee rules aggrieved party should get fucked into the sun. Day 2 the rest of class shows support for the protested party on way to her first run. She would go on to win.
A protest form from the Sports Car Club of America national autocross championships, alleging that a trans woman is not eligible to compete in ladies classes for [reasons]. Ruling of protest committee is that the protest has no basis and protesting party is an asshole. Competitors (the not-asshole kind) in the SSC Ladies class at the SCCA Solo Nationals show support for their colleague who was protested for competing in a class she was not eligible for (spoiler alert: she totally was eligible).

American Government to global automakers: We'll make your cars impossibly expensive with tariffs unless you build them in the U.S.

Also the American Government: Build a factory here and we'll arrest the workers you bring in to get it operational.

South Koreans detained in ICE raid at Hyundai electric vehicle site in Georgia
The raid has sparked an angry response from South Korea which called it an unjust infringement of people's rights.

A few shots from my time with the Audi Concept C here in Milan. I am so jealous of those of you who get to shoot in a studio on the regular. What an amazing experience.

Anyhow, you can read my impressions of the thing here:
