I agree with you. I was calling it "clean" relative to coal, oil, and methane. One of the ongoing dilemmas is about whether to keep existing nuclear around or not. Because shutting them down may lead to more coal/methane/oil use. From a #climate perspective, it is a difficult decision.

Yeah. It's clean. Right up to the moment when it's not. And nuke proponents don't want to talk about the nuclear waste left behind at each power plant even after said plants age out and are dismantled. The REAL costs never end.

The problem is that the status quo leads to a catastrophic future for many including the ones the JET advocates are trying to shield. And as everyone starts looking out for themselves first, the collective good is thoroughly ignored.
