There's also in general a lot of emphasis on meat from agencies, govt and advertising. High emissions are an inherent part of meat production, regardless of the quality of the meat or where it comes from (transport constitutes a very small percentage of emissions for *any* food, including veg)

What on earth can we do about Galway's notorious gridlock(TM)? With a couple of notable exceptions, most politicians and influential bodies have zero interest in getting people out of cars, and it shows.
