Boss at my last job offered to cut down the giant sequoias in front of a USFS building while also taking out their laurel. They didn’t appreciate the sentiment.

If they’re the ones I gave you they’re actually giant sequoias :( A non profit usually gives workplace redwoods but they had gave us sequoias instead. If we get redwoods again I’ll save some for you.

It was a professional level evaluation where you have to give your answer and then justify it. Really cool experience but also very humbling every time.

Very disappointed in my own performance- I got very close to what I wanted but missed some easy stuff. But I met a lot of cool local people and learned a lot.
