I hit a depressive slump preettyyy hard early this year and fell back out of the habit of trying to be more talkative and leave more comments. Hopefully next year I can dust myself off and get back to doing that again because I miss it TT_TT

I feel like I should try to post at least one or two pieces of art before the year ends, especially since I have some sketches that were mostly finished months ago. But the apathy, man. How can I make myself care about art and sharing art again?

Mixed feelings on the changes to Essek aside I do love a complicated and twisted parent-child relationship so Deirta's whole thing in ep7 was fun.

I hate to say it but animated M9 Essek feels like he was written for the side of the fandom that crashed the fuck out over the reveal that he did evil things for selfish reasons. idk I feel like giving him a sad sympathetic motivation takes something away from his character arc that I rly liked
