After trading their Pro Bowl quarterback and wide receiver in exchange for a pair of Day 2 selections in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Seahawks plan to contend for a championship.
And they believe they can do that without Geno Smith and DK Metcalf ⤵️

Like both the Ernest Jones and Jarran Reed contracts for Seattle. Both reasonable deals for guys who were very good last year.
Seattle was 17th in EPA per play and 24th in success rate again the run before Ernest Jones. Fifth and ninth after.
30th in yards per coverage snap after finishing 19th in 2023. Still an underrated player.
This already feels like a great value given the LB contracts given out so far.
