What makes it worse is that it pretends intimacy while doing the opposite. It sounds respectful, but it actually strips identity. Soldier, Marine, airman, sailor, even “troop” carries lineage, culture, contradiction. “Warfighter” is a spreadsheet cell.

Americans are not paying attention. What’s he is doing in DC is different. He is putting the MPD under control of the AG with feds on the streets with the cops. Fourth Amendment limitations are no longer going to be enforced. He is all but declaring martial law.
