He did win more votes than any other candidate, but he was at 49.8% of the vote.

1/3 of eligible voters abstained, so his total support system is only 1/3 of voters. And declining.

It sucks that’s all he needed to gain power. But I find it heartening that it is FAR from a majority of citizens.

And so far, that has proven to be true. He won’t stop until he is forced to stop.

I looked it up. Jeffrey’s voted no in June 2025 and present on December 10 regarding articles of impeachment. He released a statement and was interviewed about it and his vague explanation was that it wasn’t “serious”.

I think calling for the death of a sitting Senator is pretty serious.

It will be a good day when most voters are better educated on the issues and stop voting against their best interests so the rest of us have to work that much harder to bail them out of their chosen ignorance and bad judgement.

While POTUS is not supposed to be able to cancel elections, this guy will try anything to stay in power. ANYthing at all.

It’s clear that shots 2 and 3 were unlawful. And shot 1 deserves to be investigated.

It’s also clear that NBC left out footage material to any analysis of this event.

Pretty sure an officer has to wait for that threat to materialize. They can’t preemptively use deadly force. They’re not allowed to shoot someone who is running - or driving - away. Officers have been jailed for this with less evidence.

And NBC didn’t mention those shots at all. It’s material.

Even if you give him the benefit of the doubt on shot 1, the remaining shots are not self-defense.

This was available to that newsroom before filming and they omitted it.

This segment never shows the videos all the way through and instead freeze it for their “analysis”.

I watched this news segment. They completely ignore shots 2 and 3 made from several feet away on the side of the car where the agent was definitely not in danger as the car was driving away

NBC has been reporting the news in a way that minimizes the Trump administration’s bad behavior and bad faith more and more every day.

This is the most blatant recent example. They make it sound so reasonable, but they carefully emphasize anything that makes him look better.

2) They completely ignore shots 2 and 3. These were made while the agent was standing at the side of the car, after the driver had turned and begun accelerating away. He was not in any danger at that point no matter your perspective.

1) The wheels of the car were turned away from the ICE agents before accelerating. The position of the ICE agent who shot Renee would have enabled him to watch her turn the wheel away from him.

All true and they should do it anyways, over and over again for every infraction.
