My dad once got into a huge fight with my mom on Xmas Eve because she let us open one gift instead of waiting until morning. He threatened to make us take the tree down, made mom cry, and never apologized for being a shit.

Is anybody enjoying Season 5 of Stranger Things? I'm two eps in and sick of all the arguing. You'd think people who have been to hell and back together FOUR TIMES would be kinder with each other. Someone needs to teach the writers that the conflict needed for drama does not mean constant bickering.

Busy day. I cleaned up the dead cucumber and cantaloupe vines (found 1 rotten cantaloupe and 6 giant cucumbers), then pulled out 1/2 of the rogue raspberries that pop up in my yard from the neighbor's (they'll grow back). Raked bed and trimmed the border grass. Got the other half to do tomorrow. 😴

Can't afford the Starbucks Bearista? Safeway's got yer back. Once the unbreakable bear is out of honey, just fill it up with your drink, flip up the lid, and stick a straw in the opening where the honey comes out.
