I hate that we, as a society, see violence as the *only* solution to dealing with horrible people that iconic characters like Steven Universe, Aang, and even freaking Batman are regarded as "enabling fascism" or whatever because they have moral principals that they refuse to break.

Yeah, one thing I've noticed is that the sequel has comparatively less or barer marketing compared to its predecessor.

Heh, I wonder if Universal learned their lesson and are actively trying to avoid spoiling the whole plot again.

The frustrating thing is, if I recall correctly, Universal actually has a rule where their films *specifically* have to be 90 minutes or less.

I don't know if that only applies to animated features, but I do remember reading that somewhere.

Yeah, I'll admit, I'm hoping the sequel doesn't suffer from the same problem as the first movie and tries to cram in so much stuff in a 90 minute runtime.

It gets tiring trying to talk about the original film only for others to just call it "shameless fanservice" and whatnot.

Honestly, one of the reasons I enjoyed Incredibles 2 is because it's partially a political satire, more or less.
