The lesson folks should have learned from the Vic Mignogna stuff becoming more public was that no matter how much blowback there is from fans, ousting monsters from a vulnerable community is more important.
But plenty of folks decided the lesson was "we can't air dirty laundry or fans get mad."

The fact that problematic voice actors aren't behind held accountable for their words or actions in the industry has pretty much drawn me away from pursuing voice acting as a career.
I do still want to some day, but I'd honestly treat it more like a hobby that pays than something to strive for.

So many modern comics feel like a derivative ouroboros of other comics.
Broaden your influences. Find inspiration from how comics are made in different cultures. Experience art that isn't comics/ comics inspired. And most importantly, pull from your life experience to develop your voice.

Holy crap, Franco Zeffirelli's "Endless Love" is one of the most frustrating movies I've seen. Between its slow-as-shit pacing, the borderline unlikable characters, and the campy acting, the only real entertainment value this film has is just how fucking BIZARRE it is.

Don't start with the big story you've been dreaming up for ages. Instead make something small you know you can complete and do that over and over again. Your skills will develop way faster and you'll eventually realize that "big story" wasn't as good as you thought it was.

59. I find using "fan fiction" as a descriptor for "bad writing" to be incredibly regressive and any excuse one could make to justify doing so always comes off as moving the goalpost.
Fan Fiction just like all types of literature can be good and can be bad, it's just that simple.
