I am really, really trying to like The White Lotus. I am trying very hard. The acting and writing are great. The locale is beautiful as well. I just cannot stand these people, by varying degrees.

This Ohio State/Miami is reminding why both I have always preferred the NFL over College Football and why the NBA has gained ground against College Basketball with me. I cannot stand the NCAA because they pretend to care about tradition and student athletes but love the millions in TV money.

God, the DirecTV Stream app on Android is quite terrible. Why can't YouTube TV make a deal with Marquee and FanDuel sports again. I don't want to deal with this crappy app anymore.

Apparently DJT took a break from working on ending the shutdown to call a play of the Commanders-Lions game. I guess getting people their food stamps and keeping their healthcare costs down can wait. What a joke! Why can't I get one single day break from this demented clown? Sad!

Just finished #thepaper on Peacock. I really like the show. It's a clear spiritual successor to both the US The Office and Parks & Recreation. My only complaint is that I wanted to know what happened to Oscar's State Senate campaign.

Random thought while I was getting lunch at Subway that made me think the whole religious liberty debate is stupid. If the Muslim lady can seemingly not judge me when she is putting bacon on my sandwich then doctors, pharmacists and government workers do the same at their jobs.

Damn it, I love the Bear. One of the main reasons I love this show is that it's basically about broken people who have made mistakes in their lives to be better. Unlike one of my other favorite shows, Succession, the people in #thebear are rough around the edges but they are still decent people.
