You mean "big two"? While they're still making hardware, Microsoft's shown that they've already bowed out of the console race. There's no reason for me to buy hardware from them.
And given that they can't code Windows competently either, they're already giving Valve an advantage.

No, @eurogamer.bsky.social, #SonicGenerations 's remaster isn't "unnecessary". Maybe it's true if you're just comparing the PC version to the PC version, but on consoles it is ABSOLUTELY necessary, especially on PS4/5 and Switch where you can't play the original game at all.
