was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007. After years of failing health, Eddie died in October 2020 at age 65.

1972 & became Van Halen in 1974. Van Halen released 12 studio albums with their self-titled debut album being released in 1978. Eddie is known for popularizing the tapping guitar technique, allowing rapid arpeggios to be played with two hands on the fretboard. Along with the band, Eddie Van Halen
