Will the PSF be waiving the $50 cancellation fee and extending the refund window for all foreigners? It is no longer safe to travel to the US regardless of visa status.

Looking forward to the next PyCon Canada instead - same great content, less beatings and illegal detainment.

Not just awareness for 3rd party apps but upcoming core changes too. I had no idea django-tasks was an upcoming thing until this post, and I work with django+task queues all day!

Is it? If 'metadata' here is just 'what is necessary to build/link/ship' I'd say anything with static metadata is the outlier. Most of the world still runs on projects built with build systems like Makefiles, CMake, meson, SCons, etc with no consistent metadata at all.
