You’re running your own Google Ads, but the leads aren’t there.
Most issues aren’t complicated — they’re just hard to spot from the inside.

A Power Hour gives you 60 minutes of real #googleads troubleshooting: what’s wasting budget, what’s fixable fast & what to do next. No upsell. Just clarity.

“Our ads aren’t working.”
Campaigns look fine. Targeting’s fine. CPC is fine.
Then I check the landing page—and that’s the real issue.

A vague headline. No offer. No clear benefit.
Not traffic problem. It’s a #conversionrate problem.

Fix the page 1st or you’re just paying to prove it doesn’t work.

Most #PPC campaigns fail because the goals were unrealistic from the start.

Without clear goals, you can't know if you're winning or losing. You can't optimise. And you definitely can't score what's working.

Marketing brings 200 leads. Sales says only 30 matter.
Both can be right.

If there’s no agreement on what makes a lead “qualified,” marketing chases volume & sales filters too hard.

Define qualification. Track it. Fix the gap.
It’s the only way to improve #leadquality.

Most PPC agencies run ads.
Few tell you the landing page is the problem.

If the page doesn’t convert, the ads won’t either.
That’s why we audit landing pages in week one — real #conversionrate work starts before spending.

Your ads run & leads come in, but you still don’t know which channels are profitable.

Marketing sees leads.
Sales sees revenue.
Nobody joins the dots.

Proper #attribution shows which campaigns drive qualified leads & revenue. With that clarity, budget choices become obvious.

“Let’s run some ads” isn’t a lead gen strategy.
Ads are just the top of the funnel.

If your landing page, form or follow-up is broken, nothing converts.
You’re paying to prove the process doesn’t work.

Real #leadgen is a system, not a campaign.

“Why aren’t we profitable yet? It’s been three weeks.”
This is what kills good campaigns.

Google Ads needs time to learn & stabilise - not panic pulls in week two. Rushing it just resets the clock.

Most campaigns need real #ppclearning before ROI is worth measuring.

Smart Associates approached us about their Google Ads. With clear communication & solid strategy, we built campaigns that actually perform.

They said: “TLC Ads has been very successful in promoting our business through Google Ads.”

Sales says the leads are rubbish. Marketing says they’re hitting target.

Usually they’re looking at different things.
Marketing sees volume.
Sales sees bad fit.

The real issue is #leadtracking. If you don’t track which leads become revenue, you can’t fix the gap.

Your FD asks you to justify spend.
Google Ads shows 247 conversions at £43…
Then: “How many became sales?”

Silence.
Because nobody tracks the gap between leads & revenue.

We use #whatconverts to see which campaigns drive real sales - not just activity. #googleads

Google Ads dashboards say one thing.
Your enquiries say another.

Google tracks signups, downloads & clicks.
You track real buyers.

Business outcomes matter more than dashboards.

Know what you’re measuring. #googleads

There’s a difference between managing #GoogleAds & just monitoring them. Real management is proactive & strategic. Monitoring is checking dashboards & hoping nothing breaks. Too many accounts look “fine” but have no real optimisation. If you’re paying agency fees, you should get agency-level work

“AI won’t take your job. A human who’s great at AI will.”
Bill Kerr said this and it’s true.
AI isn’t the threat — standing still is.
At TLC Ads we use #AI to speed up work, not replace people.
If your company won’t train you, train yourself.

“We’ll get your ads live in 3 days.” Sounds impressive, except it isn’t.You can’t do real audience research, competitor analysis, tracking, journey mapping, or proper copy in 3days. What can happen is a duplicated template, swapped logo, & a few broad keywords. Good #PPC takes time & actual strategy

Month 1: "We're gathering data." Month 2: "Still optimising." Month 3: "Takes time." A good #PPC agency tells you what they're testing, what they've learned, what's changing, and when to expect results. Vague reassurances aren't strategy. You're paying for expertise, not guesswork.
November 28, 2025 at 10:30 AM
Most #GoogleAds campaigns fail before they launch, not because of strategy, but because the setup is wrong.
Broken tracking. Scattered budgets. Chaotic landing pages.
You can’t optimise your way out of a shaky foundation.
Get the setup right first or spend months paying for the mistake.

Need a speaker who explains #GoogleAds without the sleep-inducing jargon? I've run workshops since 2009 - practical, clear, no boring theory. New Forest Business Partnership: "Participants very grateful, highly recommend." Perfect for events, training. DM to book.

Marketing hits their #leadgen target. Sales can't close them. Both frustrated. The problem? No feedback loop. Sales needs to tell marketing WHY leads don't work - too early, wrong title, unrealistic budget. That's data, not complaining. Weekly check-ins fix this. Without feedback, you're guessing.

Businesses treat #LeadGeneration like a tap - on when the pipeline's thin, off when busy. Then wonder why revenue's inconsistent. Lead gen is a system that runs consistently, not a last-minute scramble. Know where buyers are, match messaging, follow up fast.

Most businesses know their ad spend, few know which campaigns drive revenue.
Clicks and leads don’t tell you what closed.

If you can’t trace deals back to the campaign or keyword, you’re guessing. Fix your UTMs, capture lead source properly, report on spend to revenue & the real picture appears.

Saw this in Miles’ newsletter: “Conversion design isn’t about looking nice - it’s about getting results.”

True… but aesthetics impact trust, and trust impacts conversion.
If your design doesn’t match what your audience expects, they bounce.
Results and design aren’t separate. #ConversionDesign
November 14, 2025 at 12:30 PM
Getting conversions but no sales?
Your agency's probably counting email clicks and PDF downloads as conversions.
None of that matters if your sales team can't close them.
Fix your tracking first. Then fix your campaigns.
What's your Google Ads counting right now?
