Were my mock croc Tevas the best choice for the impromptu rainforest hike to the waterfalls? Definitely no, and I know better bc my real hiking gear was in the car. I survived and appreciated the messy journey. I still feel the rain echoing in my forest bath.

My secret swiftie for the Reddit swiftmas is a fan of rep, and I’m pondering what to create. I’ve done the exchange since Lover, and here are some of my previous creations. State of Grace inspired, speak now (Tiffany’s version) and a New Romantics poster designed from a pic I took in Germany.

Makes me like this is why we can’t have nice things better (and it was a surprise song). She’s certainly living that Gatsby life once again with displays of $54k watches and brand deals with the nfl.

Fun fact: there’s a “malachite room” at the Winter Palace in St Petersburg. Columns and fire place mantles exquisitely fitted into the very architecture which makes other ornamentation look gauche by contrast. given the Russia/Fifa connection, I’m amused the FIFA trophy is encrusted in malachite

Seraphinite is one of my all time favorite stones — a form of clinochlore that resembles feathers or angel wings. It’s named after the Seraphim. Seraphinite is functionally extinct, as it’s only found at Lake Baikal the source is now depleted, mine closed so what’s out is out.

Couple fave auroras I snapped in May. Not an understatement to say I was existentially moved witnessing the heavens’ dance in the Washington state latitudes. How we continue BAU after majesty devastates my soul.
