Generations which they push and force and delight in seeing getting shorter and shorter by the way, because faster = more people, less educated people, more frightened and hungry people.

As soon as the fetus (being the scientific name for fertilization to birth) is born and there is an actual human infant involved - they couldn’t care less what happens next. To the baby. The mother. The family. The community. (cont.)

I always say they’re not pro-life. They’re pro-pregnancy. Pro-disadvantaged-population-growth. Because as soon as that presumably: not prepared for, or healthy enough to live, or unwanted, or not-welcome surprise, or product of violence.. I could go on… (cont.)

I’ll say though, my Doc is a QUEEN and refused to back down. Was like a dog with a bone on my behalf, going so far as to call manufacturers herself abt the “shortage”.

My usual pharmacy was amazing, too, and called to give me updates every other day for weeks.

Still? We were unsuccessful.

Me and my doc had to send “official” emails ahead of time to tell pharmacies we’d be calling to ask abt Vyvanse stock bc every time I tried they’d be like “you’re clearly seeking out meth” and even Doc was given attitude 😤🤦‍♀️

After hellish months of trying meds (I call that the “cocktail phase”), Vyvanse was next up to try; it was World Changing™ - I had exactly ONE MONTH of relief before the “shortage” and then it was back to the drawing board and the weird, emotional devastation of knowing what is POSSIBLE 😫

Perfection was my mother’s response (to my face!) when I came out (when I was 23ish):

“Duh.”

And then there were hugs and lots of [we literally don’t care who you date as long as they’re not villains]’s all around 🩷
