On one hand, yes -- the realities of those living with and affected by HIV has changed. But we're also experiencing a cultural regression, with vaccine denial, medical privatization, and the destruction of health resources for marginalized communities. Progress can be undone. This is scary.

It’s absolutely right that workers walk off the job in response to the government taking a chainsaw to Canada Post.

The funding struggles they cited were not a surprise in this day and age, but years of declining demand and the changing HIV landscape somehow were. The announcement snapped me into a bit of a reality I've been aware of but apparently not clearly. I don't know what this means for HIV service orgs—
