Building science nerd. My background is typical. Bachelor’s from U of Rangoon, varsity luge captain. I designed meat helmets. As an insolent junior engineer I was placed in a tyvek envelope and beaten with slide rules. Pretty standard, really.
In this sequel, Musk is Dennis Nedry's dumber and less scrupulous college roommate.

"We've seen this movie before. Wars for regime change or oil that are sold as strength but turn into chaos, and American families pay the price.

"The American people do not want this, and they are tired of being lied to."

Im 1982, Tex Cobb famously aced all three cognitive tests his trainers gave him between rounds of his horrific bout with Larry Holmes. It was four fingers, he got it right every time. Four.

Our latest, a Whirlpool, has been OK. Not maintenance free but the parts that broke were available and relatively cheap.

We bought our house with a 1978 KitchenAid dishwasher, with an avocado front that matched the stove and Frigidaire fridge. That fucking beast ate everything we threw at it for a decade. It was like 35 years old when we put it out to pasture.

We’ve had at least six since, they all sucked.
