If you're in central Texas & you have room to house a shelter dog in a spare room Friday - Mon/Tues, area shelters would love your help getting dogs out of outdoor kennels and into homes for a brief break. You don't have to do a lot with them, just let them decompress while we wait out the weather.

Pepper is an 8 year old male black and white tuxedo kitty with yellow eyes, a black nose and white whiskers. This is a side profile picture of him is sitting up in his kennel with his head turned towards the camera. He is looking to the left. He is located in Queens, NYC ACC. *Pepper is on the at-risk list due to behavior. He is not thriving in the care center and continues to display distance-increasing behavior when approached for interactions. He has not warmed up despite staff using treats to build a positive association. Due to his stress levels, it is in his best interest to move out of the kennel environment and into a stable home as quickly as possible. *Due to the detailed behavior issues, this animal is only available for foster/adoption through one of ACC's New Hope Partners.
