Also it’s wild that during these times you tell someone who has chronic, significant mental illness that has been debilitating in the past and the potential to be in the future you “don’t care your depression”. People are killing themselves right now because of the current state of the US.

Also, calling people out you don’t know right now is violent. If you aren’t willing to fortify your community and you want to blow it up, you don’t care about anyone but yourself.

If we are going to make any real change we have to realize that the internet is dangerous and our presence on the internet makes us vulnerable right now.

Also, this is a prime example of why white leftists are dangerous, especially if the majority of their activism takes place online. They don’t care about collective liberation, they care about personal optics in a revolution that sacrifices the marginalized. They will be violent within first.

Also, the people doing real work in their community aren’t broadcasting it on the internet for a pat on the back. We don’t need validation from social media. They aren’t taking selfies at protests and posting them, they aren’t taking selfies with leftist coded garb. They are in the community.

Also when white leftists are overtly and explicitly sanist they are telling others there is zero place for mad liberation, especially when the tyranny machine is directly targeting those living with mental illness and their access to care.
