Ok, no joy in that search. I did find a couple of apparently anti USSR strips from 1947 (maybe that and similar strips are the source of the rumor?). There’s also a 276-page book based on an August 1959 4-panel strip, which seems unusual. FWIW

In SF, the demo moved from City Hall to the Tesla outlet on Van Ness. Peaceful, but suitably loud. ✌️

Stopped by the (very) soft open for India Basin's new park in Hunter's Point. It will be a nice greenway , for walkers, riders and kids. And birds!

One thing positive about a week-long heat wave: our community garden is popping off. Fall workday was a success, the new gardeners are up to speed and our pumpkin's oranging up.
