Trump has no sense of humor, so therefore MAGA has no role model for humor. Think about how easy it is to imitate Trump. We know what he sounds like, his mannerisms, etc. Now, think about what he sounds like laughing. Drawing a blank? The guy never laughs. He has no capacity for humor.

I’m not saying they should have been released wholesale. But in addition to Epstein and Maxwell, there must be dozens or hundreds more accomplices, John’s, etc who could’ve been investigated, tried and convicted using the evidence recovered from Epstein. Garland didn’t seem to pursue this at all.

I understand this sentiment, but I’m still disappointed that the Biden/Garland DOJ did nothing with this for four years. Justice for those hundreds of victims can’t arrive soon enough. (If it ever really does.)

Biden’s DoJ sat on this for years. Both sides have been complicit in covering this up for too long. Released the files and convict the child rapists regardless of their party affiliation, social status, educational rank, net worth, etc. Imprison. Them. All.

Rates near the zero-bound are like ICU for an economy in crisis. Anyone wishing for that is a moron. Low, low interest rates are NOT a sign of economic strength. Japan had three decades of that as they wallowed in stagnation. They are just now beginning to normalize rates. Trump bankrupted casinos.

Too much technology (quantized rhythms, autotuned vocals, etc) has taken the human element out of modern music. But the worst element is songwriting by committee instead of creative artists writing/performing themselves. (Especially with the chemistry of a band with all its internal dynamics.)

Absolutely right. Imposing a de facto death penalty for a crime that doesn’t carry a death sentence; outside of US jurisdiction; with no due process; against accused criminals labeled “terrorists” is illegal, immoral and goes against everything our nation has purported to support for decades.

I’m a big fan of Talarico! Calm but unyielding in debates. He’s a bit more liberal on policy matters than I have been historically (but I’m moving that way every day). Crockett is bright and can attack with a bite that Talarico lacks. Either is better than Cornyn and light years better than Paxton!

After 9/11 when photos were published of Osama Bin Laden I thought it odd how the religious fanatics in Al-Qaeda fetishized their guns in every photo. Today, that’s just standard operating procedure for midwestern kids in the USA.
