Krafth has to be out in the summer right? His value is rotation in 3rd option… if you aren’t available, might as well give the spot in the squad to someone else. #nufc

That was fun!

Just a reminder, every year gap between the squad asset value of the big 6 clubs and the rest gets bigger.

Financial restrictions don’t just stop us catching up; they enable the others to accelerate away.

No Bruno, Joelinton, Miley - yikes 😬

Every time it rains, we under perform. Has anyone got any stats on our home and away record in the rain vs any other weather type? I’m sure there’s something in this.

@editkev.football does your database have weather stats baked in ?
I’d love to dispel this personal myth if possible!

#nufc team for Sunday against Villa….

Pope

Miley - Thiaw - Botman - Hall (A Murphy?!)

Tonali - Ramsey - Joelinton

Elanga - Woltemade - Barnes

Save Bruno for the rest of the season, got to give Hall a rest at some point, Gordon at full tilt needed against PSG, Wissa over Woltemade for PSG.

Next weekend FA cup at home vs Bournemouth (3 days after Leeds and 3 days before EFL semi at home va City) - would you …

🔘 put the kids out and focus first team on the training pitch

Or

🔘 keep the first team going for momentum, maybe a bit of rotation

How is Simons one a red but Garnacho’s wasn’t looked at? Baffling.

Guimaraes was sent off for the same thing last season.

Leverkusen definitely one of the better sides we have played yet d this season… loads of pace, defended well, decent set pieces.

As away performances go, that was pretty good from #nufc

You could just see Tonali was knackered, put Ramsey or Schar on!

We are a Wissa away from having a very very fine season. Liverpool, Arsenal, Barcelona, Marseille, Leeds, Villa.

Still reeling from the Stanford report on Brexit. Reduced GDP by up to 8% and investment by as much as 18%. The UK Treasury would have £40 billion more each year if Britain had remained in the EU. Devastating self-immolation.

Ask Donarumma what he thinks about Gvardiol’s foul on Bruno as he was trying to head it in - big softy

They will put this up in the records for why AI cannot replace human thinking and writing.

The understanding of the fan, the narrative in the writing and the world class analytics + visuals to illustrate the point.

Brilliant - well done @editkev.football !

Howe has made a bad decision, it happens, he’ll have to take it on the chin.

This set of subs feels very significant for the rest of the season.

We’re a mid table team until we can fix the attack. #nufc
Totally on Eddie Howe that one. We got away with one and didn’t with another.

Long, long season ahead. #nufc

Spurs so naive in that corner. Three players in the corner (one doing laces up). If you want the time; just have someone stand on the corner flag until Spence is back. Amateur hour ! #nufc

Set pieces must be relatively straight forward to delegate compared to other parts of the coaching process that are more integrated.
NUFC knew EH and JT need help this yr and hired someone to give them time to focus elsewhere /1
The appointment of a specialist set piece coach at #NUFC hasn't yielded a heap of goals yet, but it's trending in the right direction. 1/

Joe Cole on UCL build up telling us Chelsea are constrained by FFP / PSR.

Sorry but they are constrained by idiotic spending. Chelsea absolutely are not constrained by PSR.

Heartwarming to see my city stand up against racism and hate! This is why I love Newcastle!
Newcastle says no to fascism.

The far right brought a hundred or so with them, bussed from far and wide. This city turned out 1000s, from local communities, estates and streets. Geordies of all backgrounds coming together and outnumbering the purveyors of hate by some distance.

Newcastle united.

Woltemade’s link up and touches were great; but we are so need players who can put it in the back of the net. Our finishing is still really poor as a team. #nufc

£50m for Wissa is in the same bracket as £20m for Vlachodimos; crazy money but could prove to be a stroke of genius by the end of the season.

We might potentially be able to attract an established CF who hasn’t been considered now that he isn’t sticking around. Someone with eyes on the WC wouldn’t have wanted to be trying to play ahead of Is**

I’d LOVE it if the Wissa JSL media push is just to get the hopes up of Liver**** and stop them getting another CF in by deadline. Keep Isak and leave them hanging and short of a striker until at least January.
