No, it was fine. I saw it with two people who hated it, but I thought it was an enjoyable action movie with a somewhat dated premise (what if TV took over the world?? We didn’t know how good we had it). Like virtually all studio movies today, it could have been 20 minutes shorter

Apparently the Simpsons blizzard thing comes from an AI video making the rounds on Facebook and not any actual Simpsons episode (and is supposed to happen in January, and not in Connecticut). Listen: we are doomed

In an unrelated conversation, the person who suggested that the world controllers announce their plans in advance through The Simpsons said “I’ve only read three whole books in my entire life.” You don’t say.

The Simpsons blizzard thing led to a discussion about the whole “Simpsons predicted it” thing, which in turn led to speculation that the people who write the show also control the world, and from there onto government weather control and the importance of getting enough copper in your diet
