Ok, optimistic #6nations prediction:

England grand slam by beating France on final weekend.
Scotland battle to 2nd place.
Ireland & France suffer mediocre tournament to finish 3rd and 4th.
Italy 5th.
Wales wooden spoon.

I'll check back in a few weeks to see how close I was...

Extremely proud of my mother, who has been part of a group helping refugees arriving in North Devon settle and integrate into the local community.

Sounds like a terrible existence. And he missed the "divorce early" and "die young and unfulfilled" part....

This article doesn't really hit on huge and varied knock on impact for the children with SEND and everyone else. Lack of funding means need can't be properly met. That likely leads to various poor outcomes for the child possibly for the rest of their life. 1/2

Did she not read Project 2025? Or read the actual physical signs held up at Trump rallies?

It is exactly what you voted for, dumbass.
The co-founder of Latinas for Trump is now condemning Trump’s ICE raids:

“I’m afraid of someone stopping my son.”

“This is not what we voted for.”

At what point do we start to compare the UK government today with Chamberlain's in terms of appeasing facism?

Re. the debate about the social media ban in the UK for under 16s I think that is the wrong solution to the problem, which I do agree exists. To me, it is the equivalent of saying "oh, there is adult and dangerous content in films and TV, let's ban anyone under 16 from watching any TV and film". 1/4

About time and I'm surprised that this wasn't already illegal somehow.
And despite her shadow secretary agreeing with the gov on this, Kemi Badenoch seems ok with CSAM being created just so long as the kids cant see it and the people making it are paying. WTF!?

I've always loved the fact that the word 'sneeze' is the result of a historical accident. The original form, in the Middle Ages, was 'fnese', but someone mistook the 'f' for the long medieval 's' and wrote down 'sn-' instead.

Fneezing sounds much more like a proper, nasal sneeze.

That's a fair criticism and it's also why RHEL has such a small share of the distro market but most of the profits. It's the path they have chosen, but that doesn't prevent Debian, Ubuntu, and others from existing.
