they tore down the old art school buildings (leftover WW2 Quonset huts) decades ago, but I like to imagine the same paint and clay dust spattered copy--the owner (her now-illegible name written on both discs) long having forgotten it--survived to the new building and bides its time until returning

the sweet spot is a feeling where it's closer to goofing off, but sustaining that energy for several days at a time is always the trick. it's still easy to like one thing, tighten up, and then capital-T Try which always makes the work stiff, and then I become insufferable and avoidant
