Seen some vague outrage about Bamford joining the Blunts & honestly can't relate at all. I'm genuinely happy he's got a club, he was a terrific player for us overall. No doubt he would have seen his contract out but we understandably decided against it. Good luck to him, hope he does well. #lufc

Starting to think that Daniel Farke should not have asked if it was that time of the month for Leeds fans. #lufc

I see folk are back to discussing whether the incumbent manager of Piss With the Cock You've Got FC should be sacked for pissing with the cock that he's got. #lufc

Remember all the talk in the summer about how hard the Premier League is? Unfortunately this is what that looks like & what it may well look like for a long while. Virtually any team can batter you, especially away from home. I don't want to say get used to it but...yeah, you probably should. #lufc

Not saying that wasn’t a particularly good half but at one point I Googled to see what Ľubomír Michalík is up to. He’s still playing semi-professionally it seems. #lufc

On the plus side this is indeed very spooky. #lufc

Brenden lad you got your goal, let’s not ruin it. #lufc

Having slept through that one entirely due to time differences, I might try to do that more often. Doesn’t look like it was much fun to watch in real time. Wouldn’t have picked those scorers before the match. Wins are wins though, particularly with injuries. On and on. #lufc

On some level you have to give it up for the Referee being perhaps the highest functioning drug addict I can immediately think of outside of the late William S Burroughs. Imagine giving aspiring match officials a recording of this game & asking them to determine what is a foul is or isn’t? #lufc

Regarding the question of where the goals are going to come from…turns out everywhere. #lufc

We’ve actually been doing pretty well but I admire & approve of the decision to fold the club. It’s long overdue frankly. #lufc

I think we’ve had a good start to the season but have to admit that it’s proper embarrassing to be below Stretford Reds in the table, albeit briefly. #lufc

A big & ultimately convincing win on the road against a side that look not so much like relegation candidates so much as bottom of the league club elect. Not sure what they’re going for but the headline is that the Whites are currently sitting pretty in the top half of the PL & that’s dandy. #lufc

You have to feel for Gabriel Gudmundsson. Not only for that desperately unlucky own goal last week but also for being robbed of being top of the assists table in the PL based on this game alone. #lufc

It’d be a lot easier for us to manage our expectations regarding 16 year old Harry Gray if he didn’t keep scoring all the time. Just notched a hat-trick tonight against Scunthorpe’s senior team in the National League Cup, a competition he’s already won once. #lufc

Gutted for the lads, deserved a point. Still a positive performance despite the disruption of the break. Darlow deserved a clean sheet, he was terrific. Goals remain a concern & though they will come, the difference today was the business done in the transfer window, which is on the owners. #lufc

Another half where we don’t look out of our depth at all & probably the better side overall. Think we lose a bit of shape without Nmecha up top & not sure DCL is up to speed yet. Okafor looking promising & both our full-backs class again. If we’re brave we could win this off the bench. #lufc

It’s a shame that nobody asked Robbie Evans about how much consideration the club gave to whether they should ignore PSR & take a points deduction given how integral to their plans PL status is. Hopefully someone will ask Paraag Marathe that when he is interviewed. #lufc

I feel obligated to say that I do think the ten players we brought in seem like decent enough acquisitions & business done in previous windows means we're not in terrible shape. However, I also have to concede that we're looking a bit light up front & that's a real concern for obvious reasons. #lufc
