The Dark Phoenix Saga has exactly as much baggage as every other memorable X-Men storyline that would be a pain to adapt because of all the stuff that leads into it, and doing a stripped down version (what if good guy went mad with power) loses most of what makes it interesting.

They got a Pragmata amiibo coming, I think they’re gonna be all-in on Switch 2 until it blows up in their fscd

I only started reading older X-Men after watching ‘97 and it’s such an insane miss compared to everything else in that show. They were able to figure out a way to adapt Inferno but Sunspot was a total whiff.
