Reminder that everyone of these ICE agents are on the federal payroll. Any congressional committee could subpoena their names, addresses, social security information, and probably their bank information. Their masks are temporary; the documents are permanent. Accountability will come.

Anything by Ralph Vaughn Williams is better than by anyone else. There are many other hymns to the tune of Forest Green, as well.

MTG was driven out of politics by the Trump and the MAGA movement. First, terroristic threats against her from anonymous sources. Second, a threat to mount a well-financed primary candidate. She did what other non-MAGA GOP reps have done: get out as soon as it made financial sense for her.

one of those funny little things where a one-term democratic administration picking the wrong lawyer with an inflated sense of doing things as written rather than as intended leads to catastrophic downside (in this case, Carter, 1980, and government shutdowns) www.govexec.com/management/2...
That Time a Lawyer Invented the Government Shutdown
For nearly 200 years, shutdowns simply didn’t happen, even when Congress didn’t finish spending bills.

The policing of the reactions to the death of Charlie Kirk was dress-rehearsal for the repression of any expression of celebration at the possible death of President Trump. The political theory of fascism is that a leader captures the soul and spirit of the people and deserves absolute power.

My prophesy: someday people will have chunks of the Trump Ballroom as paperweight/momentos on their desks, next to their moonrock fragments and chunks of the Berlin wall. Same with the Triumphal Arch. May we live see it.

The far left is not interested in winning. The far left's goal in mass movements is to search for the most militant or radical of those who are being mobilized to recruit them into their tiny organizations. They are looking for a few comrades, not a lot of coalition partners.
Let this moment be a wakeup call to stop taking some of the far-left seriously.

Mamdani isn't good enough for them. Nor is Rep. AOC. Nor is Sen. Sanders. No one is good enough for them.

how about we turn "Shutdown" to "Shut It Down"

I think Trump is now being protected from his restive allies by his ill health. Why raise a hand against him now? Better to wait until he dies.

The shift from cable companies to streaming platforms makes media companies newly vulnerable to boycotts. Cancel Paramount for Colbert! Cancel Prime for Attiah!

Do NOT resubscribe to Disney. Where is the deterrence in that? Companies need to believe that they will suffer long lasting damage if they collaborate.

Churches are already politically active. The “no endorsements from the pulpit” is a norm that liberals uphold while conservatives ignore it. And as everywhere else, neutrality upholds the status quo. Free the Religious Left!

Apparently, being an ICE agent will become a common experience for young white men in the USA. They will be required to do things to other people that will violate their own sense of decency and morality. A sustained moral injury inflicted on a generation, which they will have to defend forever.

I don’t Trump has any coherent foreign policy goals. He wants the powers that come to a wartime President. The goal is his dictatorship.

They better be careful what they ask for

Where’s my OBAMA 2028 hat? There’s a fortune to be made for somebody with a hat factory.
It's always a troll and totally serious at the same time.

This is why fighting back matters. Counting on Trump to accept he's a lame duck and leave quietly is foolish.
