Can anybody parse this? It sure sounds like a Wharton Ph.D, and not Grok, is running this portfolio.

Also in keeping with him jumping on scams marking their top. Remember this?

I slapped together my own budget using household medians from Google, assuming a family of four but only one parent works so the other can handle childcare, and using lower-priced goods where I could (apartment vs house, used car vs new). Came out to needing the working parent to earn $78k/year.

I’m not saying he played the game of his life, but he threw a touchdown, ran in another, extended plays with his legs, and ran for a handful of first downs. Meanwhile, his receivers dropped 5+ passes. I’m not sure what anyone else could have done with that O-Line and those receivers.

From today’s Morning Brew. In the richest country on Earth, over 40 million people (12% of the population) rely on food stamps to help meet their basic needs. Meanwhile, the 400 richest Americans (0.0001% of the population) are worth $6.6 trillion. This feels like a solvable problem.

Definitely a thing you say when you’re for sure not in a bubble.

Surely this situation is fine and does not have several historical precedents that should in any way be cause for concern.

Isn’t this another way of saying that Goldman expects the U.S. to enter a recession in the next five months? And doesn’t this view inherently require inflation to cool significantly over that time, which suggests that there will be a huge shift in the U.S. tariff policy? How likely does that seem?

Excuse me, but I believe it is the Fantastic Four, and not the Last Son of Krypton, that was most recently seen being detected by long range telescopes as they entered our solar system. The last time we saw Superman, he was hovering in the shadows with the rest of the Justice League.

What’s the endgame here? Do these people just bubble for the rest of their lives? Is there any point where they will feel the pandemic is over?
