Sometimes I break fixed things. 🤷‍♂️

Epstein files? What Epstein? What files?

Who could have guessed *this* was how this shit show was going to play out? Oh... everyone with half a brain and at least a drop of cynicism. 🙄

I hope someone leaks what they obviously are hiding. All we need is one good person to slip this out...

I'm glad books like these exist to help parents navigate difficult conversations with their children...

Anyone have any suggestions for filling the camera holes in this phone case? I think it's polycarbonate? Could be ABS but it's pretty flexi. ABS is more snappy than flexi isn't it?

Thought about stainless mesh heat pressed in the plastic & melting plastic onto it, but the back is thin. Feels risky.

I wonder of Carradine does the aerial silks portion of the work out...

Anyone know what this is?

An aluminum tube, with three hollow inserts, with a different sized hollow needle in each. The needle has a hole near the tip. Unknown what it is for? Thread? String?

No markings, but there is a gold "Made in Taiwan" sticker on it.

Saw a knife shape I kinda liked, so I made a smaller version. The original was 8" long. I cut a 5" & 6" one from an old 1/8" thick circular saw blade. Also cut a 6" one out of 3/16" 1095 steel. Considring finger grooves for a more positive grip.
I have no idea how I'm going to heat treat these yet.

Had an old brass mill knife holder I couldn't find a blade for, so I made one from an old planer/jointer blade. The last photo shows why I only put one bevel on the blade, the steel is laminated. The thinner section is some super hard metal. It's sharp as hell. #tinkering #knifemaking #diy

The rare and elusive Colmbia Basin Agate!

Three hours of looking, found one agate. Last time we went we found a couple of small ones. One was really close to carnelian red.

Made friends with a rattle snake. Was too short to be a hat band, plus she scared the bejesus out of me

Liminal space? I thought I'd wandered into the Backrooms at first. It's a perfectly uncomfortable space to be in.

The florescent lights being dead in places adds to the weirdness I think.

These with my phone using some altered gcam and the rack of my suburu for a 'tripod.'

Those haven't been worked at all (outside of whatever gcam does). They're pretty enough, but no stars or depth like you got stacking! I'm going to have to look into that! I really need prioritize photography time.

I did okay taking Aurora pics with my stupid little camera phone. Didn't take my dslr. I missed my Olympus OM2. I used to do loads of night photography with it. But these two are okay. I did take some with my son's digital SLR though. Haven't downloaded them yet.

If I'm ever on a plane next to some weirdo in one of these I'm pieces pitching a fit. That's a sack, which is luggage and the weirdo inside it should be in the cargo hold or overhead compartment.

Always wanted one of these but the construction is so simple & I felt silly. There's also may diy options to make tools which do the same thing.

But for free? Yeah buddy, no silliness there. I now I have a ClampTite like the cool kids.

Measuring tape refill. Probably cheaper to replace the whole thing 🙄

What I think is a motor from an in-well pump. I always preferred the other kind - they're accessible for repair without a calling a well guy.

And an old, very cool looking &probably dangerous torch head.

I don't know what that plastic jug with the motor on top is yet. The motor runs some sort of impeller. The gauges are for working with refrigerant gases. So like car AC & fridge/freezer repair/restoration. *If* it works.
