I’ve heard it argued the defense uses it to know who they need to cover.

The drive is over, he’s coming off the field and practically on the sideline by the time it comes off.

Wouldn’t surprise me if it was Louise on the phone

Not a Liverpool fan, but City winning is so expected now it’s almost like it doesn’t “count”

But I’m also sure there’s a lot of anger and annoyance from Liverpool fans towards City for preventing them from winning more titles

I know nothing about why the justices suddenly retired. It's weird!

I've at least read the wiki and a few articles about the reform effort, minimum wage switch in time, etc. The justices claim they decided months before reform bill, but FDR campaigned on it and oral was after the election so... 🤷

Jon Hamm was so good in Bridesmaids, 30 Rock and Kimmy Schmidt that I now view him as a comedic actor first and foremost, and Good Omens sealed it.

The ethos of his character in 30 Rock is so perfect. A complete buffoon who gets through life by being outrageously handsome

Kirk explicitly said he disavows empathy as a concept; this is what he (said he) wanted!
December 12, 2025 at 7:41 PM
My largely uninformed understanding is there's an ongoing debate whether that was due to FDR's attempted reform or coincidental?

But that FDR ultimately "won" by replacing 7 of the justices during his second term.

Obama was more spread out during his first run, in part because it was a super favorable environment and there are often advantages on downballot turnout.

But it was still disproportionate towards swing states, and even more so in 2012.

State By State Breakdown Of Presidential Campaign Spending Reveals Surprises
Perennial battleground states Ohio and Florida top the list of where the Obama and Romney campaigns are spending, and that is not unexpected. Pennsylvania, though, is very far from the top -- and that...

He seems to have very effectively revealed select parts of himself to different audiences. It was immediately clear after his death that lots of people only knew about him as a generic Christian podcast guy and not 'gun rights more important than children's lives' or 'empathy is bad' asshole

The more I have looked at the artist’s other work, the more I have become convinced that this is probably awkward and fake-looking on purpose.
I guess it's fitting that it's a reimagined, worse version of someone else's artwork

Possibly intentionally to make that exact point

Worse than that even, he actually attempted it!!

I think he means progressives that encouraged MOC to go visit the prison

Inflation and COVID, you may have heard of them? It was a pretty big deal
December 12, 2025 at 1:07 AM
Literally every presidential campaign spends the vast majority of its resources on swing states, because they know that is the most efficient use of resources to win.

They may go to solidly red or blue states for fundraisers, but they aren’t buying ads or GOTV operations there
December 12, 2025 at 1:06 AM
It kinda literally makes it okay if they followed a legal process to seize it?

If the Les are bad then change the laws, but you can hardly blame them if they followed the rules for once
December 11, 2025 at 4:14 AM
Yup!
December 10, 2025 at 7:46 PM
Yeah I wouldn't expect a 31yo who hasn't had a 4 WAR season in over 3 years to average 3.8 WAR over the next 5

What are the odds he even has *one* 3.8 WAR season?
December 10, 2025 at 7:44 PM
I think it's been a disaster but for other reasons. What you're describing is really no different than constituent letters/calls and public meetings.

'Yes or no' on the types of neurological damage Trump may have based on the medical care he's receiving (MRIs, cognitive tests, etc).

His doctors by now have definitive information to know, but the public is forced to guess based on only knowing about the tests and not what the tests say
I think that an MRI showing infarct, small vessel disease, amyloid burden or what have you is the key detail, not granular assessment data. Whether he passes a cognitive test is functionally irrelevant to me, the issue is identifying the underlying mechanisms for his decline.

But so did Jeff Kent, but somehow you’re in here defending him??

I think I’d rule that a fumble in the field of play, which is why no receiver would hold the ball out like that and instead immediately tuck it
