Brilliant, but he was too nice and I can't believe this line of questioning isn't pressed constantly in every committee meeting.

Discrete strung, those together to exactly that, meaning when but all like are words have reduced.

I could write opinion for the NYT.

FIFA is a longstanding mafia organization, almost as corrupt as the Trump organization.

I had sciatica from herniated discs when I was even younger, found good exercise programs and still run and work out every day decades later.

Exactly, couldn't they find a qualified person to interview? It's like doing an interview about the bond market and interviewing a junior trader at some boutique shop who started a year ago. How about someone with a little experience and perspective?

How in the world is this extremely young and inexperienced individual qualified to dispense political advice outside his family and friends? His only qualification is having grown up in a wealthy establishment household. Shame on WM.

Republicans have over the last 60-70 years turned "liberal" into a pejorative. These Dem strategists have bought into the Republican propaganda. The answer isn't to abandon your principles, it's to show people you will stand up for them and turn the other guys into the pejorative.

"Kill 'em and let God sort it out" is clearly the most Christ-centered philosophy.

Not to say Turner isn't completely full of crap. Immigrants are almost entirely renters. Deporting lots of people is weakening multifamily demand, but the impact on rents because of that is minimal and the drag on the economy from having fewer workers is terrible policy.

Allison, you're great at what you do, but billionaires are not buying single family homes. Institutions (not the same as billionaires) own a tiny fraction of single family rentals and they've been a net seller of scattered sites last few years. 95% of SFRs owned by small owners. We need more housing

Sorry, that's wrong. Bond yields (rates) decline when the economy is bad, bc investors expect the Fed to cut rates to stimulate the economy. Rates rise when the economy is hot because investors expect inflation.

Bond returns go up when yields go down because their dollar value increases.

They want to think of themselves as tough guys, but like most everything else about them, it's projection. They're tough when they're pointing a gun at an unarmed person or beating on a woman or child.

Jesus said he was going to throw out the rich and powerful people out of his kingdom in favor of the poor rabble. This guy knows what he's saying is stupid but everyone he knows is a cult member who nods in agreement.

If you had the slightest amount of journalistic integrity or skill, you'd be asking why bad faith actors are trying to destroy the American health care system, not platforming liars and lunatics. Alas, NYT is a huge part of the problem.

I wrote about this years ago. The goal, carefully planned over decades, is a court that rules everything Democrats do is illegal so even if they win, the country is ruled by Republicans.

I share her political sentiment, but I don't think Jesus would have much in common with any American political ideology. He taught a coming Jewish theocracy, certainly one where all people are treated with justice and dignity, but not a secular democracy.

I agree, but voting for Republicans, even allowing them to win, inflicts incredible damage to the people you care about. Biden's policies, even if you think didn't gonfar enough, helped the poor and middle class, Trump's are literally killing them. Not remotely the same.

Agree on the media, they are unfamiliar with the evangelical world. I wrote this before Trump was elected in 2016:

Evangelicals Attraction to Trump is Deep, and No Mystery
In the run-up to the election, there was a lot of hand-wringing about how surprising it was that Evangelical Christians were so supportive of Trump. Having lived in Evangelical culture for decades, .....

Generalizing is hard. There are plenty of anti-intellectual fundamentalist churches on the East Coast. Certainly not as pervasive bc of the diversity in the populace, but plenty nonetheless.
