The Park Forest Fire Training Facility is one of the region's most active firefighter training sites in the region, supporting over 500 trainees from more than 50 departments annually.

Today, we unanimously passed the Cook County FY2026 budget, one that stands with our people & values. I am proud of what we accomplished & grateful to all of our Commissioners, Bureau Chiefs, staff & partners whose work was instrumental in bringing Cook County to such a stable financial position.

In Cook County, we've always believed every person deserves access to justice & essential services, regardless of immigration status. Cook County will use every tool at our disposal - legal, legislative & administrative - to push back against unlawful federal actions & to safeguard our residents.
