8 weeks ago today I told my parents my wife and I were expecting our first baby. 6 weeks ago today I was sat in a hospital room waiting to hear if my mum had survived a severe hemorrhagic stroke. We were told it was likely she would never wake up. Tomorrow I get to tell her if it’s a boy or girl.
