Did staffing cuts at weather service affect Kentucky’s tornado response?
Due to staffing shortages, the National Weather Service in Jackson no longer has overnight staff. But NWS and Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear say the office was staffed Friday night and early Saturday.

I've been thinking about how far Trump's lawlessness can go and I came up with a framework: the Jim Banks test.

Apply it to specific scenarios. Can Trump send US citizens to foreign torture prisons w/o due process? Would Banks defend/enable it? Then yes.
Jim Banks would let Trump commit any crime you can imagine | Opinion
Jim Banks has one standard: subservience to Trump's whims. Even when Trump defies a law Banks created, Banks will not oppose him.

This is terrifying in America. ICE agents are showing up masked—these abductions must stop. If you’re going to detain someone, show your face, present a warrant, and proper ID. Disappearing people from their families without evidence or accountability isn’t law enforcement—it’s state-sponsored fear.
