I can abhor everything Bush did, but still recognize that he genuinely thought everything he did (or at least started) was in the best interests of all Americans. He was usually wrong, but I don't doubt the sincerity of his decisions. I can say similar words about every president, except one.

To be fair, a real burial 6' deep will require about 4 cubic meters of soil, which I still think is a reasonable deal.

You should swear in on whatever you think is most sacred to you. Most would believe that's their holy book. Because if you break your oath, you would be disrespecting and damaging what is supposed to be most important to you. Trump should have sworn in on a stack of bills.

False equivalency. While at school, the children are legally in the care of the school and they can and serve what they think is best (I would argue we need to double all lunch spending nationwide). While at home, the parent is the guardian and they choose what to feed or not feed their charge.

Trump didn't get sworn in until late January. Barring his own demise (🤞) he'll be in power longer next year than this one.

I think if everyone enjoys a movie and you don't, that's a case to examine yourself. Or, perhaps, you are being too critical of a movie and not allowing or looking for the fine points. Movies can be objectively good or bad, and separately, be enjoyed or not.

Well, his name is already on the building, so 'official' or not, you're wrong.

Dogs are not a gift, yet alone a Christmas gift. They are a commitment, a member of your family. Would you adopt a child on Christmas day as a gift? Your local shelter is probably open 360 days a year. Any other day is a good day. Too many are returned post Christmas.

The excess deaths are a bit harder to calculate, but between 2020 and 2022, it was about a million or 1.1 maybe total, I forget exactly. Not 1.2 over a single year. Facts matter.

If it was up to me, the number of playoff teams would be fluid. Who gets in: all conference champions and all 1-loss or less teams. Because if you're the best, maybe you have an off day and lose, once. Ain't nobody "the champion" if they lose 2+ times. Don't want to miss out? Win more. 🎻

That's the largest single trophy I've ever seen.

I know the politics of Idaho. I know she has no chance past, present, or in my lifetime.

In 17 games, not 16, or 14 or 12 like seasons used to be. Season stats are becoming worthless.

So the amendment put in place immediately after FDR'S fourth term to specifically limit Presidents to two terms, so it never happens again, is ambiguous? It's hard for me to think how even this SCOTUS could misinterprete this. However Trump could just seize it anyway, no election,to get around this.
